girls weekend, anyone???
the summer heat is unbearable, my kids are going crazy! i talked to my mother who is just as miserable with the heat... so last minute we decided to hop in the car and meet in austin at their condo. so, here we are, relaxing and playing! (sort of...remember anywhere 4 kids go relaxation hardly follows). but it is a change of scenery! and when i say scenery... i mean it!! we are on the 12th floor over looking the state capital! this is a girls getaway waiting to happen!! i see days spent laying beside the pool, and evenings spent walking the streets going into all the little cutsie stores you husband would never go into with you. and nights sitting sipping wine and enjoying the view and great conversation that is so uninterrupted it ain't even funny! well, anyone that can come up with a good excuse to use on our husbands to get away, let me know and we will be on the road to relaxation!!!

OMG!!! You people are soooo talented! This place is simply to die for! I hope you are having a terrific time with your family! You will not find me laying out next to you at any pool! (No offense! Country Girl will!) Did you say shopping, wine and sleeping past 7:30? Sounds wonderful!

pony girl- that is just a pillow! it doesn't get THAT crazy!!
jen- thanks! i've been to classes for the faux, she had me do some of her home and i taught her and off she went, i'm proud of her work! the paint is all i can take credit for, the rest is her own awesome ability in decorating!
carrie- pool pics are coming soon, nothing to fret over, you'll be fine!!
