ringing in the new year...

we went out to the land to have a bon-fire. nothing really planned. we have so much clearing that a fire is never a bad idea, i honestly think we are going to be picking up sticks until my children go to college!! we decided to bring the pit out and b-b-q.

we had enough food for an army, and enough "pit masters" watching over it...


there is just something about food someone else cooks, so so good!!!


we even had a generator, so we did margaritas! now, i am not sure who dressed me in the hat and glasses, but whatever...


i think jo had something to do with it! and by this point, it was so cold, i just assume look like an idiot and be warm than the alternative...


me and heath in passing... he was too busy keeping the fire going for us...


then "mr party" showed up with his juice boxes in tow... slow down jason, no one needs to start off with three... sheez...


jennifer and billy thought they were in a night club... i can see how they were confused???


after jason downed the three juice boxes, he entered the night club too... look at jill off to the side... she hadn't had any juice boxes yet and wasn't feeling "the club" yet...


jake on the other hand... like father like son...


the kids had a blast, they went through two golf cart batteries, and we had to tow them home. once again, one more night we played until we couldn't play anymore...


midnight came about 15 minutes too late for the kids... and me, i saw 12:00 and my head hit the pillow at 12:15!! we had a great time!!!
