you know, after having three wild and crazy little boys, i just had this strange feeling, this emptiness, a void. it was nothing i could understand. we "planned" on only having two children... you know, one boy and one girl...right?? then i was told having children of my own would be very unlikely. and after one miscarriage, our magic number was one! if we could just have one child how happy i'd be! then came our precious son! what a joy! we thought, you never know how hard it may be or if ever we'd have any more, and low and behold...TWINS!!! wow! so i was thrilled, but it just never felt complete. was it that we went from 1 to 3 and skipped over our "idea" of 2? what was this feeling? i prayed and prayed for the Lord to take this from me if it was not His will, but for 4 years it never went away. then one day, i just wasn't feeling so good and what do you know...pregnant with #4! what were we doing? did i lose my mind between changing diapers and cleaning spit-up off of every shirt in our house? 4?? FOUR??? but, now here she is, and there is no more feeling empty. i am as full as can be ( not to mention busy ). she is more than we could have expected, and to see the boys giving there little sister a kiss every night before bed, to hear her little voice yell up to them, "night brodders, pay-pay woves you" is everything i never knew i always wanted!!!

Aww and she is such a little beauty! Girl you know you're gonna have to fight the girls off your boys and the boys off your girl when they grow up!

Isn't it an amazing feeling knowing that your family is complete? My story is really close to yours.. only I didn't have twins and my magic number is 3!
Hi Spanki! I'm the gal that left the comment with the scripture on Divine Domesticity the other day that you just happened to read! I'm glad you could use the Matthew scripture too! I think you wrote a comment back to me on the Verve blog thanking me for writing it (I think)! My personal blog is called Heartfeltgreetings, I'd love to hear from you if you ever get a break from those 4 adorable children! I hope you're feeling better after reading the Matthew verses! Have a great night!
Amy
