fun, family night???

a carnival came to town and those of you that know me, know i don't do carnivals! i stress that my kids will get abducted, or a ride will break while my child is on it, or that someone will get a rare condition from doing too many back flip while strapped into a spinning cage and their life will never be the same... but... i sucked it up and we went for "fun family time"

paysli was enjoying the rides, i really thought she'd be more cautious, but no this girl threw caution to the wind and rode like it was no bodies business... who's kid is this?

then the boys talked me into trying out the slide... okay, i can do a slide! maybe... wow, there are a lot of stairs to get to the top of this slide! once we got up, paysli decided she did not want to go...too late!

shannon and laci decided to do this thing called a "zipper" locks you into a cage, while standing, and flips you forward and back while spinning...um, no thanks! not for me!

then laci won an iguana! paylsi could not get over how ugly this creature was! ewww

then... i LOST my mind!!! i got talked into riding this thing... thought they were my friends but soon found out i have enemies among me!

laci took my camera and took pictures to document my first ever carnival ride.... and LAST ever carnival ride!!!

heath and the boys were already on and did not know i got on the ride, once the word spread to them, they did not believe that i got on this thing! this is how baylen felt by the end of the evening, and i was not far behind! it was worth proving to my boys that i was one cool mom that held in the vomit and did not embarrass them! it was so funny paysli was on the ground trying to watch and could never focus on us! i think she felt just as bad, and her feet never left the ground!!

we had a great time, and no matter how badly i had to overcome my fears of a carnival, it was memories made, and that is what it is all about!!!
