i thought i'd just show you how simple it is to make a big change in your home. i started antiquing my bead board at around 10:05am and i am done and have posted the pics at 11:30. keep in mind that i have also cleaned up my mess and the mess that my children make while i do anything for myself!! i have also opened about 52,965 pieces of easter candy to keep them away from me!! i really like the way this warmed up my kitchen and thought i'd show you!!

did you paint yoru cabinets? if so, would you share the color and process...oh purdy please????
yes i did, it is a signature color from Lowe's home improvement, the color is "Sag Harbor". my cabinets were just white paint grade wood, i lightly sanded them to rough them up, and painted them with a sponge "whiz" roller, it gives the smoothest finish. i used a water based semi-gloss. i chose water b/c it is easier to paint w/ if you are not spraying them and w/ 4 kids, it is the easiest to clean, and i do ALOT of cleanin'!! i've actually had to magic erase black sharpe marker!! go to my "home tour" over in the side of my blog and you can see more pics of the kitchen. i will share anything i know about paint, just ask!! hope this helped!!
